The Tourism Development Strategy for the Czech Canada Tourist Area is a long-term conceptual document aimed at defining the primary goals for the development of the region over the period of 2024–2028 and outlining the path to achieving these goals. This document aims to improve tourism conditions while contributing to the overall development of the area in terms of enhancing the quality of life.
The outputs of the conducted analysis serve as a crucial basis for drafting the strategic section, which includes the development vision for the tourist area and its logical breakdown into priority areas and corresponding strategic goals. Each analyzed area (tourism supply analysis, tourism demand analysis, external micro and macro environment analysis, competition analysis, tourism management methods analysis, and SWOT analysis) provides a summary and proposals for future development. The results contributed to the proposal of core product lines that should become the core of the destination’s offerings. The strategic section concludes with a proposal for changes in the operation of the destination management organization, aiming to enhance its professionalism and flexibility in responding to increasing demands on destination management, including the growing competitive pressure.
